In a "Nut Brown Ale", Where does the NUT come from? Is it an adjunct?
Or is it just a combination of ingredients/

I want to brew one, but I don't know the ingredients.

The "nutty" flavor comes from the grain profile - there isnt any actual nuts used.

The nuttiness comes from the darker kilned malts:

But there are also some beers out there that use nuts. Seen a couple using pecans before -- at least, I think they use them. Lazy Magnolia makes a Pecan Brown.
